No , I ain't the one
with an appealing smile,
not the one with a winsome face
and hilarious personality with hint of grace.
Not the one who hangs out
with a bunch of peeps
bunking classes and planning trips
with friends who flaunt their teeth
in pictures on social media
Who give ears to useless rants and worthless ideas.
Am not even the one with huge glasses
And best of the grades
Whom the teachers love and the students hate.
Am the one of those corner benches,
not the last, I repeat the corner benches
an introvert soul with a body that repels,
An insecure mind where the solitude dwells
carrying an awful plastic smile
and an unattractive attire,
whose walks become a joke
and talks ignored at the foyer.
The one who eats his tiffins alone
and hold the tears back to his bones.
The one who gets bullied
and locked up in school toilets
Who sheds tears on mother's lap
And perceives blue even of the violets.
Having none to love and share
nor the ones to caress and care
whose body is a tombstone of confidence
And mind conceiving insecurity in dozens.
Today ten years later
when I swipe my Instagram page
catching memes and quotes about
how school life is the pure fun
I silently wish I never went to one.

Dear aai,
You and I are a part of two different worlds.
Yet, we have one thing in common,
we both come from women who changed their names for a man,
women who travelled galaxies after galaxies to a place where they finally lost
their
identity.
Aai, you come from a world where

Remember the day you said?
"No one's here, no one's watching."
I almost believed you that day.
Today, as I am here again,
Here again after so long,
I see us right here, at this window,
