BY ROBERT ZEMECKIS

The too good to be true film "Forrest Gump" of 1994 is one of the best films for a number of reasons. So many reasons that the entire sky will seem small to fit them. This movie received it's the spectacular and flawless direction from Robert Zemeckis. But we also have the spine of the movie, the unbeatable actor who has a huge role in making this film what it is today, the one and only, Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks plays the lead role, Forrest Gump, in a way that deserves more than a standing ovation.
The story dances around Forrest who has a low IQ, not more than 75. A simple boy with decency dripping for a lifetime lives in the present and takes whatever life throws at him with a huge smile. Little Forrest is challenged physically by his legs, and at the same time, he is blessed with a mother who goes over the edge to make sure nothing holds her son back from leading a normal life. By a sprinkle of few miracles and the innate purity of Forrest's nature, you can see his mother achieving her goal as Forrest narrates his story from the beginning.
To be frank, I was tricked by the beginning of the story. It will turn out the opposite way of what you think it would be, which is what makes it the most beautiful motivational film.
Also, Forrest explains the reason behind his unique name, which I found very fascinating. However, just like the name, the story too is extraordinary and has a matchless way of conveying the message.
Wondering what is the message? Well, the movie conveys the idea of going with the flow and tells you no disability can hold you back forever. It tells you, it's alright to have things unplanned, opportunities do knock your door, and before you plan it out, life happens to you, just like that.
For me, this film is and will stay evergreen and is the worth amount of watches you give it.!
