'Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara', A film that stays true to its name, robbed our
hearts 9 years ago and is still not ready to give it back. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this movie
is so loved and so popular because of the message it conveys to the soul of its audience. No,
nothing out of the box, a cliche message of "Live in the present" is beautifully conveyed in an
applaudable manner to make our hearts feel for life.
Three friends, Arjun, Kabir and Imran played flawlessly by Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan
Akhtar, having common as well as not so common back stories, go on a trip to Spain and return
with life exploding in every vein of their body. They meet Laila, played by Katrina Kaif, who is
portrayed as a life sprinkling character in the entire movie, and end up being an inseparable
part of her. The individual stories of each character, too play a crucial role in making this
film what it is today.
This movie is evergreen and not a one time watch. As it speaks about the only purpose we have,
to live, it teaches us to seize every moment and free ourselves from the clutches of future.
It tells us we must take out time to live because the unpredictability of having a tomorrow, it
tries to pull us out of our self built prisons meant to serve a future we don't know we would
stand in. Another soulful part of the movie that leave us intrigued is the song of this film.
With 'Khawbo ke parinde' taking us high in the sky and making us fly with the our dreams, this
song truly serves the purpose of the film and leaves us awestruck.
What I feel is, the movie has chosen adventure sports and different expensive ways to
make our hearts crave for life, it somewhere failed to show the immense life packed in the most
little joys awaiting to be unwrapped.
My ratings for the movie 3.9/5

Sept 2020
'The fault in our stars' isn't just another movie that you
watch with a bag of popcorn and a box
of tissues, this film is undoubtedly more than that. Based on the best selling
novel
by John
Green, this story is not conceived just by emotions and passion, it is also
conceived by cancer.
It is this life taking disease that has given birth to the story and every
single
turn of event
from it, it is cancer who brings the two lovers together and make them fall for
each
other and
Forrest Gump
Robert Zemeckis
Sept 2020
The too good to be true film "Forrest Gump" of 1994 is one
of
the best films for a number of
reasons. So many reasons that the entire sky will seem small to fit them. This
movie
received
it's the spectacular and flawless direction from Robert Zemeckis. But we also
have
the spine of
the movie, the unbeatable actor who has a huge role in making this film what it
is
today, the
one and only, Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks plays the lead role, Forrest Gump, in a way
that
deserves
more than a standing ovation.
